Pame Kaimakli Festival: Urban Playground, Nicosia

The Red Swing was a free to use swing placed within the center of Kaimakli for the duration of the Pame Kaimakli festival: Urban Playground. The red swing provided the public with a back to basics playful experience which can be enjoyed by all generations. The seemingly humorous participatory design unexpectedly intervened with the usual public setting of the church courtyard, allowing participation with the temporary and fun ephemeral experience.
